My Story
They say a blog is a personal business card, so I dressed up for y’all. While you’re more likely to find me in a Braves hat any given day, most of the photos on this site are from our wedding. Sarah and I got married on a December day in Paris, and given the glow of those memories, it felt right opening a window to our love. They’re also the only professional pictures we’ve ever taken, thankfully sparing you from stock photo hell. Now here’s a bit about me:
Growing up the son of a Secret Service man, you quickly learn a sense of right and wrong in the world. Mom and Dad encouraged my sister and me to follow our respective paths, read lots of books, and live outside. Those childhood pillars still stand, forming the foundation of who I am today. My parents’ kindness and selflessness afforded me an opportunity to attend Rhodes College, where I majored in baseball and life, regardless of what the diploma says.
A decade back, a summer internship with Brian O’Neill landed me a professional home at Cahaba Wealth Management. The internship evolved into a vocation, and I’m forever grateful he took a chance on an unproven, hungry kid. I’m now a CFP® and Partner at the firm, and am fortunate to help people for a living.
Sarah and I live in Midtown Atlanta and can be found in Piedmont Park on most nights walking our four-legged son, Quinn.

So follow the roads that make you feel old and brand new
If you remain kind yet aware of the signs then you’ll know what to do.
